Scenography & Production Management for BOZAR


The exhibition presents sixty masterpieces of the Golden Age of Sienese Art.
Central in the design is the emphasis on the exquisite use of gold.
The positioning of the black walls in combination with well-chosen exhibition lights attract the visitor to the shimmers of the gold-leafed art work.
The climate-controlled showcases respect the visionary style and the elegant, sinuous lines enforce the bursts of color.
The benches are upholstered with Alvar Aalto's Siena fabric which forms a subtle reference to the city's Cathedral with its pictorial effects of the black and white marble stripes.
